U.S. Stocks Gain After Employers Add Most Jobs Since 2007

April 5 (Bloomberg) — U.S. stocks rose, with the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index climbing above its highest close in 18 months, after the biggest growth in jobs in three years boosted optimism about the economy.
