News reports Tuesday that Sprint Nextel Corp. could start selling the iPhone 5 in mid-October had analysts and investors freshly bullish on the Overland Park-based carrier. By adding the iPhone , Sprint would wipe out a glaring weakness it has had competing with Verizon Wireless and AT&T.
