LOS ANGELES – The California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) on Thursday (June 9) granted Verizon’s request to end the automatic delivery of printed Verizon residential white pages listings to customers in the state. The company intends to provide customers with an online, electronic version of white pages residential listings as the primary means to access such directory information.

Verizon Foundation Offers Literacy Grants to New Jersey Nonprofit Organizations

NEWARK, N.J. – Verizon has extended the deadline by a week for New Jersey nonprofit organizations to submit proposals for grants ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 from the Verizon Foundation to support literacy programs across underserved communities in the Garden State. The new deadline is June 17.
